It's been so long since I have posted anything new on this blog that I am not sure if anyone still looks at it. But if you do, I have a new blog that I am trying to be better at updating! Check it out!
Tim and I took our engagement pictures last weekend in Logan. I was kind of nervous about it because it snowed all Friday in Star Valley and rained all Friday in Cache Valley so I didn't know if it would be a good day. But when we were on our way the sun came out and we ended up having a great night for pictures. Here are a few of our favorites. What do you think?
Spring Break was so much fun, and I am so sad that it is over! But that means that Summer Break is just around the corner! At the end of the break I was able to go to Riverton Wyoming and play in an Alumni Tournament at Central Wyoming College where I played. It was a blast to catch up with my old teammates and coaches. Tim was such a good sport and came along for the entire weekend.
My good friend, Jamie Kidd, and I went on a Mexican Rivera cruise over the break. I loved spending every minute in the sun, eating lots of soft serve ice cream with cinnamon toast crunch, visiting/seeing new places and just relaxing.
The weekend before Spring Break, Tim and I went up to Jackson with his family so that we could pick up his brother from his mission.
Now that Spring Break is over, my classes are back into sewing and are currently making pillows and pajamas. I love being their teacher, they make each day an adventure.
Tim and I got engaged last night! We are going to be getting married on June 28!
The real ring is actually on back order and won't be here till this weekend. Tim really wanted to propose on his birthday so he gave me my diamond on a simple band and then this weekend it will be put in the actual band. We are so excited!
Early last week I got the idea to get tickets to the Jazz - Heat game because (A) it would be fun (B) Tim has never been to a Jazz game and (C) it would get us out of Star Valley for the weekend. I looked online and saw the price of the tickets and started having second thoughts but then I got a brilliant idea to call my dad and see if he could round 2 tickets up through some of his "oil" connections. Luckily enough he was able to get us two tickets that were on the 12th row! It was a blast. To be honest I didn't have any hope that the Jazz would win, but low and behold they won! It was such an awesome game and weekend!!!
I can not believe how fast the time is going, and I have been neglecting my blog. So here is a quick re-cap.
Tim and I at our New Year's party!
For Valentine's Day I broke into Tim's house and gave him a heart attack with about 300 hearts. It was fantastic.
A couple of weeks ago I went with my mom, two of my sister in laws, two of my aunt's and a cousin to Ellen Ecles Theatre in Logan to see "Slipper and the Rose." It was such a fun time to have a girl's night!
Lyndie, Melissa and I after watching "Slipper and the Rose."
Tim and I at a Basketball Game.
This past Friday Tim and I went with his Brother's family to Teton Village in Jackson Wyoming and we learned how to ski. Tim and never been and I had only been a few times so we fell down a lot but we had so much fun and can't wait to go again!
