Laie Temple

Today after church I decided that I wanted to go and walk around the temple one last time before I fly home on Wednesday. So of course I drug my room mates Alexis and Amber along and we did a little top model photo shoot at the temple, it was wonderful!

Kokua Festival

On Saturday some of my friends and I got to go into Honolulu and go to the Kokua Festival Concert and listen to Go Jimmy Go, Mason Jennings, Matt Costa, Dave Matthews and Jack Johnson! The concert is a fund raiser to get Hawaii to "go green" so it was a little weird to be around so many environmentalists but a lot of fun. I got a ton of free stuff and would of been able to sample some "organic" beer and wine but I couldn't since I didn't have a cool wristband showing that I was 21....

Saturday Adventures

This past Saturday I wanted to go and see things that I haven't yet so my friend Dan said that he would take my room mate, Alex, and I to some cool spots on the North Shore. We went to Ali'i Beach, then to the burnt down supposedly haunted convalescent home, Kawela Bay (where we sat and swung on the cool trees), sunset beach to get a delicious acai bowl and then to Laie Point.

Giving In

After much thought and prayer I have decided to give in and create a blog. I know its crazy but with all my cool pictures that I have from Hawaii I thought that this would be good way to share them. So on Saturday I went to Waimea Bay and jumped off the 30 foot rock into the ocean and loved it. Then I headed over to some friends to get a Shave Ice Shake, which was amazing!!!!!

Apparently we weren't supposed to jump, but what can I say I am a rebel.
