The Sky View Has Beens

For the past couple of years I have been able to play with some of the Sky View Teachers in the Smithfield softball league. This year we ended up being tied for third place, but had a lot of fun and tons of laughs throughout the season.

Weekend of Fun

This weekend was the definition of summer fun. On Friday we went "midnight four-wheeling" up Hyde Park canyon. The weather was warm and we rode up on top of one of the mountains to look over the valley and it was so pretty with all the lights.

On the next day, Saturday, Tiera, Casey, Ian and I went and floated down the Oneida Narrows, went out to dinner at the new restaurant Beehive Grill and finished off the night with an intense game of miniature golf. I LOVE summer!!

Harry Potter

I am a HUGE Harry Potter fan so when the sixth movie came out I bought some tickets so that a group of friends and I could go to the opening showing at midnight on Wednesday July 15. The movie of course was excellent and is my favorite Harry Potter movie thus far!!!!

My friends and I were going to dress up but because of time constraints we didn't. So instead I bought a bunch of the stickers that you wear at family reunions that say "Hi my name is...." and we put the names of the characters that we aspire to be. I of course was Hermonie for the reason that she hooks up with Ron!!!!

H.P.'s Wedding

My best friend, Heather Petersen, got married on Thursday at the Logan Temple. It was such a beautiful day and she was a gorgeous bride!
We started off the morning just taken regular photos .....Me, Heather and Kenzie Lawlor

Then I decided to get things a little saucier and posed with the groom and his friends.

Then somehow I became the light reflector girl when the bride and groom had to take their pictures.

Then of course Kenzie and I just HAD to have a top model photo shoot of our own!
All in all it was a great day!!!

Wasatch Back

This past weekend i got to run the Wasatch Back with a bunch of my friends. The race starts at Merlin Olsen Park in Logan and goes through Avon Pass, Ogden Valley, Morgan, Heber City and ends in Park City. I had not been planning on doing this run but one of the girls dropped out and so three days before the race they asked me to do it and I am so glad that I did. My three runs were at 1:30 on Friday afternoon (it was super hot), 11:00 Friday night and then 10:00 on Saturday morning. It took our team 31 hours to do it and we finished 23rd in the women's division. It was so much fun and I hope that I can do it next year!

Me runnng my first leg through Avon Pass. Throughout the entire race the only bathrooms available were sick nasty pot-a-potties.........This is of my van while we were waiting for the other van to finish so that we could cross the finish line together. It started to rain and it was really cold while we were waiting but it was worth it.

Southern Hospitality

My friends had a Southern Belle and Bo party last night and it was quite the event. I dressed up as a Southern Debutante all in white while some of my other friends dressed up as hicks or southern gentlemen. It was such a fun Party!

Playing in the Rain

So it's been pretty rainy here in the Valley of Cache for the past week and a half and last week during my softball game it just started pouring. But being the dedicated softball players that we are my fellow Impact employees and I welcomed the new challenge and then played in the rain following our victory!!!
